How about a food fight with Meringue?
Have you ever wanted to have a food fight, but you just couldn’t think what to use? Never fear, thousands of pounds of meringue will solve your problem. You know, the stuff made from egg whites and sugar, the stuff that gets everywhere. Every time you move it pulls your hair and makes all your clothes stick to your body.
This was really neat because it’s the only place in Spain that they have a meringue food fight. I love how we just ended up in the middle of some random thing that we never knew was going to happen. Just one of the benefits to getting off the beaten path.
The locals were much smarter than we were and wore something to protect themselves. “Not I!” said that dumb little voice in my head. No, we were off to make the best mess possible, even though we had our own rain parka we could have used. I knew it was a good idea to start with, but laziness ended up costing us more work in the long run, of cleaning up that is.
